
The server was updated in the time the last succesful scan took place. Taken away and granted them again no change to the outcome. I check and rechecked permissions on the folders and share. I have created a root level share on a drive and given everyone permissions to it and nothing works. I have tried using the FQDN, IP and even DFS Namespace. Thought I had it written down and I am not in front of the machine and Ricoh is one of the worst companies for providing access to or keeping logs.Īnyways. The only error I am getting when testing the folder from the Ricoh is "Error Communicating with the PC".


The one on the 9th completed and the one on the 21st failed. I say this because the machine logs show no scans in between those times. Sometime between then and the 21st it stopped scanning. The Server is a Windows 2008 R2 File Server.Īs of the 9th of June it was scanning and working fine.

I was tasked with making it scan to a network folder and letting them print from it and not just make copies. We have a Ricoh MP W3600 Copier, Scanner Printer. I have read many forums and blogs on the issue.
